Need a very ACCURATE answer & explanation about Bacterial Vaginosis…?

I wanted to know is bacterial vaginosis and chlamydia anywhere near alike. Also can bacterial vaginosis somehow develop into chlamydia if left untreated for a long period of time. If a woman is to have intercourse with a man (having BV) can he catch it then give it to other people who then get chlamydia…I need as much info about chlamydia and BV’s relationship towards one another!!!!
