Bacterial vaginosis Myths – What You Need To Know
There are alot of women out there who are suffering with bacterial Vaginosis, and there are allot of misconceptions floating around. And if like me, you are curious to the myths about this condition.
One of the big myths about bacterial vaginosis, is that you have to see a doctor to cure this condition. Bacterial vaginosis can be cured with natural remedies and treatments that can work. Now obviously there is no guarantee, but these solution do work.
Another myth about this condition is that you can spread if to your partner. This unfortunately can occur. If you have bacterial vaginosis and have a male or female partner you should reframe from intercourse until the condition is cured.
Myth number 3, Douching helps with BV, this is incorrect, in fact it does not help. douching lowers the vaginal lactobacillus (the good bacteria) which can worsen the condition.
Just to recap, some signs of BV are fishy vaginal odor, grey or white discharge, and sometimes some pain in the midsection. So what are your courses of treatments, there are a few medications that you can take, which cost a good amount of money, or there are natural remedies that are available that have been proven to work.
Now me personally, I went the natural route because I don’t like all the medications, it seems like there are pills and creams for just about anything, and we seem to forget these conditions have been naturally cured for a long long time .
If you read this post, and have any questions feel free to email me, I usually am able to answer the emails within 1-2 days, depending on what I have going on. If you have BV, I hope that you are able to cure this condition I know how nasty and annoying something like this can be.
All the best,
