I have noticed a very apparent change of smell in my vaginal odor. No change in discharge (color/consistency/amount). No itching or burning sensations. It is just a change in the odor as well a greater intensity of the smell, I consistently smell it when I am sitting. I don’t know how to describe the smell, but it is not pleasant.

I have had a UTI and yeast infection before, and this does not seem similar to those times. I am a very clean person, and have been even more cautious this past two weeks (when smell occurred) to clean myself more down there

What is this due to?

I have already been to this doctor several times and I am still having the same problems. I am swelling and in pain in my pelvis. Vaginal pain is present. I have already taken Diflucan, Nystatin, Clindese (one dose treatment) and Gynacazole (one dose treatment) and Metrogel.
The abdominal CT scan was clear. I had a hysterectomy nine years ago. I have NOT had sexual intercourse of any kind in the past three mos. I am married and only have one partner.
I am thinking it is something more than yeast or bacterial vaginosis (however you spell it).
Can I change doctors for a second opinion?
