Could this be due to my birth control pills? I’m having some issues with vaginal dryness just over the past day or two. What discharge I do get is thick (not clumpy) and white/off-white and sometimes light pink, with a slight odor. I do get a little bit of itching when I urinate, but I think that might be because it’s so dry down there. It isn’t itchy otherwise. Is this an infection or just a change in my normal vaginal discharge from hormonal changes?

I would normally expect my period in about a week, but with the Plan B I took a week ago and the birth control I started last Wednesday, my cycle is all out of whack.

I’ve always had a strange discharge. It’s clumpy and bright yellow.

I noticed a slight odor coming from my vagina, kind of an acidic vinegary smell. I started drinking several glasses of pineapple juice a day, I’ve been a vegetarian for years, and I’ve started eating more yogurt to balance out the ph levels (I heard all these things help).

I inserted two probiotic capsules (meant to be taken orally) into my vagina last night, and now I have a strong, cheesy smell. I tried inserting some yogurt and its only getting worse.

What should I do?
