Vaginal Odor?

Im 7 weeks pregnant and I noticed this morning I had a bad vaginal odor I didnt know if this was normal during pregnancy and maybe a sign of the beginning stages of the wonderful discharge you get while being pregnant. Other than that I dont know what the odor could be from Im shower dailey and wash well is it typical to have vaginal odor during pregnancy?

You may have an infection. Since you’re pregnant, go see a doctor ASAP because you don’t want any infections spreading to your unborn child. Do not treat yourself with medicines from a drugstore/big box store.
Probly yeast infection there common during pregnancy
its normal to have discharge during pregnancy but it shouldnt have a bad odor it could be some type of an infection or a condition called vaginitis that is very common during pregnancy tell your doctor about it and they should do a test routinely anyways to check for infections std and numerous things
more discharge is normal.. bad odor can indicate an infection i would contact ur ob and schedule an emergency visit so he can check that out.. good luck
No it’s not typical. Sounds like an infection to me. Possibly BV if it’s a really bad odor. Time to go see the doctor. When pregnant, do not self diagnose.

No this isn’t normal. Go see your OB/GYN asap. Have you or your partner had sex outside your relationship? (Don’t be to certain that your partner hasn’t) To me it sounds like an STD, if you shower repeatedly and it doesn’t go away then I believe its an STD. Go get check and get some meds, it isn’t going to hurt just to ask your doctor. Also it would be good to get tested for all STDs. You want to make sure your 100% healthy before having your baby, STD’s can really mess you baby up. I hope I’m wrong but I wanted to give you my honest opinion. But it also could be a regular infection, but it also requires taking meds. Go to your doctor. Good luck & congrats on your little one.
No it is not normal. I would call your doctor, you prob. have a bacterial infection.
Odor is typically a sign of infection. And, during pregnancy, the immune system is suppressed, which can increase your chances of infections and illness. Also, women naturally have yeast in their vaginal canal; simple things like bathing (if you get water internally), illness, even pregnancy can cause the yeast balance to become off, which results in a yeast infection.
Before using any OTC medication, see your OB. S/he will be able to determine what sort of situation is going on and what the best course of treatment will be given the pregnancy and your medical history.
I believe it is an infection also. Go to the OB-GYN ASAP.>>>

see your doctor, you may have an infection, but i doubt it has anything to do with your pregnancy. but yeah see your doctor if it does not go away
Rule of thumb a BAD smell is not generally normal. I would have it checked. I bet its a yeast, they’re common in pregnancy and a snap to cure. Congratulations on the baby.
I’m not a dr, but I have this problem a lot (I’m 3 mths pregnant). the dr told me that this is a vaginal infection. She said that you can take yogurt (plain) and put on a pad. This yogurt helps kills bad bacteria & replace it with good bacteria. She said to do this on & off for 3 days, then if you have a bad odor, then you know it’s something like a bacterial infection or something worse than a common vaginal infection. Hope this helps. By the way, she said eating yogurt (not the same yogurt that you put down there) can help cure infections as well.
